Stacey Wilson, also known as Flygirrl, has been an integral part of the Creative Arts and Nightlife industries in Philadelphia for more than 25 years. Her career has been shaped by her work in Marketing, Event Production + Promotion, Graphic Design, Visual Arts and in recent years, Teaching. She’s the co-producer of the longest running party in Philadelphia, Tastytreats, along with Questlove from The Roots. She's produced three private events for Prince, Janet Jackson's 57th birthday party and has booked Artists and DJ's like Jazzy Jeff, Q-Tip, Biz Markie, Mos Def, De La Soul, Bilal, MC Lyte and so many more.
She’s been named a Philadelphia Creative Ambassador by The Greater Philadelphia Tourism Board. Her Artwork has featured on MTV’s The Real World Philadelphia and UPN 57’s Half & Half, and she has several pieces of Art published in Jill Scott’s book of poetry, The Moments, The Minutes, The Hours. Her work is owned by friends like Amanda Seales, Yvette Lee Bowser and DJ Jazzy Jeff. Her logos also can be found on the streets of Philadelphia at places like Relish, Green Soul and Paris Bistro.
Stacey was part of the opening cohort of resident Artists at Cherry Street Pier in Philadelphia, has been teaching Event Design and Graphic Design at The Village of Arts & Humanities, and has also blossomed into a muralist through her work as a featured muralist through The Tiny Room For Elephants Festival. Her murals currently lives on the walls at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, Amazon and One Art Community Center.
